Dear Ken and Staff: 

      My son Anthony and I were in your studio recently to inquire about having a photo done of the two of us.  I am a single mother with a disease known as Scleroderma which effects my skin and makes me very self conscious. After meeting with you and reviewing the different styles of portraits available, my son and I set up an appointment. The day came and I was a bit self conscious and nervous because I knew that this would be the last (or close to it) time I would probably do a portrait with my son since I am not sure how my skin will be by next year. To others eyes I seem fine, but I know the changes that have been happening and am no longer comfortable in front of the lens.  Well, you made my whole experience worth every penny!  My son was laughing and smiling and you brought out the closeness and bond that my son and I share in some beautiful pictures.  It was hard to choose the final picture, but we went with the one that I have my hand on Anthony's cheek.  It really captures our connection and love as mother and son.  I don't think anyone could ever understand how close my son and I truly are, but to see this photo - it really tells it all.  A picture really is worth a thousand words. Your patience, kindness and understanding, as well as your professionalism brought out a photo that we will both cherish forever and my parents absolutely loved.      Thank you from the bottom of my heart - you are worth every cent and because of your abilities as a professional photographer, I have exactly what I was hoping to achieve - a photo that brings out the love my son and I share, but one that hides my skin flaws at the same time.
